Simple Salsa Verde Chicken
Don’t have much time on a Saturday or Sunday night? Throw this in your cock pot and have dinner in 5 hours. It’s super simple and so delicious.
You will need:
1 Crock Pot
1 pound Boneless, Skinless Chicken Thighs
1 pound Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breast
1 Jar Mrs Renfro’s Salsa Verde (it’s my fave)
1 can Diced Green Chilis
1 can Diced Jalapeno (if desired)
1 Yellow Onion, Sliced
Place chicken in the bottom of the crock pot.
Put remaining ingredients over the top.
Cover and heat on low 4 -5 hours.
You can serve this with corn tortillas or on top of a bed of mixed greens with a tablespoon of guacamole.
