Kickoff 2015 with a kickass body! Join us for our 30 Day Paleo Challenge and see the awesome effects that the paleo diet can have on your body and your life!  Nutrition is the foundation of everything you do in the gym and is the primary driver of a strong/healthy body. Over the course of our previous Paleo Challenges participants reported an improved mood, energy, better sleep quality, faster recovery, and a decrease in body fat by an average of 2-3% (with some participants losing as much as 5%)! If that’s not enough to get you motivated,  here’s a quote from a couple of our favorite paleo authors to give you some inspiration for the challenge:

Registration
Cost $30
*Half goes to admin/service fees, half goes to prize money. Payment will be taken through Wodify. 
*Register by signing up for Weigh-Ins/Bodyfat Percentage Testing

Weigh-Ins/Bodyfat Percentage Testing
Must schedule a time. Sign-up sheet will be posted at the gym starting 12/10
Beginning: Fri 1/2 – Sun 1/4
Ending: Fri 1/30 – Sun 2/1
*Weigh-Ins/Bodyfat Percentage testing must be scheduled (no walk-ins) and completed during the timeframes listed above. No exceptions. No late entries.

Test WODs
Beginning:
All Class Times: Fri 1/2
-or-
Open Gym: Fri 1/2 – Sun 1/4 

Ending:
All Class Times: Fri 1/30
-or-
Open Gym: Fri 1/30 – Sun 2/1
*Test WOD must be completed within the timeframes listed above. No exceptions. No late entries.

Rules
Participants must follow the dietary guidelines listed in the slide below, as well as the bullets listed beneath the slide:

  •  Participants must complete challenge WOD & body fat % testing within the time parameters above.
  • Participants must have their challenge WOD judged by a coach or fellow member
  • Participants must turn in Paleo Challenge scorecard at the beginning and end of the challenge. 
  • Participant must eat strict Paleo (adhering to the guidelines above for 30 days

Cheat Jar & Burpees
Every time you cheat, you owe the jar $1, and you owe yourself 30 burpees. This is the honor system. When you cheat, you’re only hurting yourself. Pay for it accordingly!

Paleo Seminar
We will be posting an electronic version of our Paleo Seminar on this page so that everyone will have the opportunity to view it. We will send out a notification as soon as it is up.

Scoring
Scoring is based on overall combined ranking. Ranking 1 is calculated as the percentage of bodyfat lost divided by the starting percentage of bodyfat. Ranking 2 is calculated as the rank of the total rep improvement on the test WOD + the rank of total reps on the test WOD in comparison to everyone in your gender category.

Winners
First place male/female – 40% of prize money each
Second place male/female – 10% of prize money each
Third place male/female – 4BCF Swag
