Since the first Kentuckiana’s Fittest in 2012 we’ve wanted to offer the most fun experience possible to our competitors. As the years have gone by and the competition scene has changed, and we want to get back to that old school throwdown feel – That feel where you’re coming to hang out with all of your fit friends, challenge yourself, and most importantly have fun and crack a few beers at the end of the day.

Kentuckiana’s Fittest will stay true to it’s roots of being a well organized, well ran competition, but our goal is to focus on community and to inspire athletes of all levels to compete.

We still welcome competitors from all over, and of all skill levels, but instead of drumming up individual competitors from the 5 nearest states, we want to drive attendance here in Kentuckiana.

This year KF17 will officially make the shift to a partner competition.

We feel that more members of our own box and more members of other local boxes are likely to compete and have fun with this shift in format. KF17 will take place on Saturday, September 30th, and will include the following divisions only:

Novice – Male/Male

Novice – Female/Female

Advanced – Male/Male

Advanced – Female/Female

The competition scene is flooded these days with all variations of contests – big, small, team, individual, etc. There are plenty of opportunities to compete, so we make no apologies for the change in format – We wouldn’t make the shift if we didn’t feel strongly that it would be an improvement.

We hope you’ll come out and enjoy the day, so grab your partner before someone else does, and save the date!

Registration, movement standards, and  full details will go live on this page on Friday, August 11th at 11:00am. We hope to see you in September!
